A remake of one of my favorite MSX games, Castle Awesome is a harsh and gigantic puzzle/platform game. Save the beautiful princess!

Castle Awesome download is down until I fix the crash issues.

Castle Awesome uses an earlier version of Shiny which has proven to be crash-prone. I believe I've solved any issues, but in case of a crash, please email me with the LOG.TXT file.

Controls:
Left/Right - Walk
Up/Space/Joystick Buttons - Jump
F1 - Suicide and reset current room
F3 - Quicksave
F4 - Quickload
F5 - Pause
F10 - Game Over
Z - Slow motion
X - Fast forward
S - Skips cutscenes
Esc - Goes to title screen / quits game

I have the same problem. I tried running in 256 colors/different compatibility
modes. nothing works. i'm going to try an ms dos emulator next.

Ok I found the problem. The zip file does not include any castle map files
therefore the game crashes when it tries to load a castle. I'd propose a fix,
but I don't know how these map files are arranged.

OK, I got the map file up and running off of another download, unfortunately it
glitches on the first level for whatever reason and crashes every time. I can't
seem to fix it. Oh well. If anyone has a fix lemme know.

Do have to do something other then just pressing x ore space in order to
"evert"? None of the keys changes anything in the game!

IS the game back up for downloading? From your description it sounds like you
fixed the issues, but I don't see any download links on the page.
